” We attended the recent Iftar event with our family, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. There was no clear communication that this would primarily be a fundraising event, which was surprising. As new parents, this was our first interaction with the school, and it did not leave a positive impression. The most concerning part was the approach taken during the fundraising segment. The individual leading it came across as unprofessional and overly focused on pushing for donations. Many parents around us were commenting that it felt uncomfortable and pressured, rather than welcoming and community-oriented. Fundraising should never feel forced, especially during Ramadan and right at Iftar time when families are fasting and children are present. Additionally, the food was cold and not sufficient for everyone, which added to the frustration. We hope management reflects on this and improves the organization, communication, and professionalism of future events. First impressions matter, especially for families considering long-term involvement with the school. REVIEW EDITED AFTER MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT “

” Ontario Muslim Academy Alhamdulillah, the Iftar on Saturday was amazing. The decorations and the energy put in by the team were truly beautiful. You could clearly see the effort they put in for the sake of Allah (SWT). Although many guests arrived later than expected, which caused the fundraiser to begin after Maghrib, the host sincerely apologized multiple times to those who came early. Due to the delayed start of dinner, the food was opened later than planned — something that can be improved in the future, insha’Allah. At the same time, it was a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation, as once people finish eating, many tend to leave. Overall, Alhamdulillah, the insight shared about the projects in Africa was very impactful. May Allah (SWT) grant us all patience and immense reward for being part of such meaningful and important work. Ameen 🤲 “

” Ontario Muslim Academy is by far the worst school i have ever attended. The teacher are all rude and disrespectful, showing pride in saying racial slurs to student, trying to break students relationships with eachother and countless other things. Most of the teachers here dont even have a degree and the office would just hire anybody at this point. I highly recommend and suggest u DO NOT send your children here. “

” Greatest school I have EVER been to. Not too strict and amazing environment, with special soccer events and its own league. Very grateful to be here “

” Excellent school both in terms of education and religious studies. School provides a caring, engaging and safe environment. We are very satisfied with our decision to register our children here. Teachers are very approachable and cater to each child’s unique needs. “
