Prince Academic School
” Beware that this school supports LGBTQ propaganda ( or whatever the abbreviation those people use right now) . And it starts in grade 1. Yes, I didn’t make a mistake, grade 1. My son was given a coloring page with rainbow flag in grade 1. In addition this study section was done by the school counselor and the counselor also read a book about the family with two dads. This is unacceptable!!!! Parents were never notified that this topic will be discussed during class. Mind you, these kids are only 6 year old. What happen with teaching them how to count and read first, before discussing sexual matter? What happen with asking parents’ permission to discuss such sensitive topics? I hope that people who will be registering their kids to this school with think twice. “
” One star is at least 1 star too many. My niece and nephew have been at this school for years. They are not taught how to count past 100. So I had to teach them how to count to 999. That took 1 hour. It took 1.5 hours to teach my niece how to borrow numbers (subtraction) and that was while taking ETS home. They teach K-3 phonics to the entire Gr.5 classroom. The only reason to do that is if all the children have special needs. I’m an Educational Assistant so I what education should be, but this is not that. They don’t push the kids. Everything that I teach them I ask them if they have been taught this or that, and they always say no. When I taught my niece how to borrow numbers it was like it was never taught in class. “
” I’ve recently just graduated from this school and I must say this school is amazing I’ve been here since kindergarten and it’s been so awesome the only downside is some of the kids are a little mean but hang out with the right crowds the mental health services are so amazing I have worked with Asia and she is the nicest and most understanding person ever and the teachers are so amazing and the friends I have made are great people and the principal mrs Toews is so nice :) and I really appreciate that instead of French they teach cree which is so cool I most definitely recommend this school for anyone who might be thinking about sending their kids here “
” Our mornings are better despite having to wake up an hour earlier. My daughter is so happy here and enjoys going . She loves her. Teacher already . I believe this is the only school with a cree program. The staff don’t make you feel intimidated. All around comfortable environment and friendly staff. I love it. Keep up the amazing work prince Charles school. “
