” We are incredibly grateful for everything RHMS has done for our children, especially my daughter, who began her learning journey in JK. From the very beginning, she has felt at home at the school. She loves all the teachers, staff, and the support she receives, often sharing stories about her day and the sense of belonging she experiences. It’s truly heartwarming to hear her say that the school feels like another home to her, and it’s clear that every teacher knows her by name, making her feel valued and cared for. During the pandemic, the school went above and beyond to support the kids, providing engaging activities that helped them continue learning and grow. We are so thankful for the dedication, patience, and warmth the teachers showed during such a challenging time. Their efforts to create a caring and enriching environment haven’t gone unnoticed, and our family deeply appreciates everything they’ve done for the students. Academically, RHMS is exceptional. The school’s academic standards are truly impressive, consistently performing two grades above local community schools. My middle son, who is two years older than my daughter and is in French Immersion, has experienced this firsthand. In fact, some of his homework aligns exactly with what my daughter is learning, which speaks to the school’s strong curriculum. In addition to academics, RHMS offers a wide range of extracurricular activities like track and field, arts café, and more, which provides students with opportunities to explore and enjoy different interests. We are grateful for the balanced and well-rounded education our children are receiving. Overall, we feel so fortunate to be part of the RHMS community and appreciate everything the school does for our family. Thank you to all the staff and teachers for your unwavering dedication and support! “
” My child is studying in grade 1. It is a well-organized school with a class of just 17 students, which is fantastic. There are three main teachers—one for general subjects, one for science, and one for sports. The school places a strong emphasis on overall development, offering various activities to support kids’ growth. They even introduce game programming, which makes learning fun and engaging. In science, they explore topics like biology and planets, while sports classes include a mix of games such as soccer, lacrosse, and basketball. The structured environment and diverse learning opportunities make this school a great place to learn, and I feel fortunate that my child gets to be part of it. “
” I went to this school since the fourth grade and it made a huge impact on who I am today. Although going here truly had its ups and downs, I still look back at the memories positively. I graduated a little over two years ago, I still think about RHMS. I’m so glad that I was apart of the RHMS community and I’m forever grateful for my RHMS teachers, especially my 8th grade ones (shoutout to Mr Kim, Ms Rafferty, and Ms Q, you guys really made my year). RHMS really left a mark on me and I’m really happy that I spent 5 years going there. “
” RHMS has provided a safe, nurturing and enriched learning environment for my son. He attended the school from Montessori to Grade 8. The academic curriculum is accelerated and has provided my son with valuable skills required to be successful in academic endeavours. There is an amazing focus on hands-on learning, particularly in STEM. The teachers, along with the administration, have been superb in providing continuous support and care. I can say what sets RHMS apart is the level of dedication they have to their students as the teachers make the effort to understand and become acquainted with each child’s academic strengths and weaknesses. This has allowed my son to flourish and gain confidence in his own abilities, notwithstanding the fact that he also has learning disabilities. I am amazed that a child could love school as much as he does, and I believe this reflects how important RHMS has become to him. I really want to sincerely thank the teachers who have shown such dedication and attention to my son- Mr. Kim, Ms. Rafferty, Ms. Shannon, Ms. Coady and Ms. Quidayan along with Ms. Ingravalle ( a Principal who is always available to meet and discuss each child’s development and academic options.) “
” This school is a great place to build a solid educational foundation for a child. The facility is expansive for an elementary school. Resources and facilities are current and up to date including the technology in the classroom (SMART boards). The teachers are compassionate and dedicated, and issues are either resolved in an appropriate timeframe or they are immediately referred to admin if necessary. The program is advanced, but teachers are willing to adjust to their students’ needs. Staff are proactive with student progress, and are very responsive when parents have questions and concerns. “
