” We made the challenging decision to send our daughter to high school, as a boarding student when our jobs demanded travel and several relocations. She chose TCS. The entrance requirements were high and the academic rigor was on par with her highly-rated Massachusetts high school. She thrived as a student — from small class size, making friends with students from all over the world, to community service and being engaged in physical activity for all 3 seasons. She said it was one of the best experiences she had socially and academically. We are grateful to the staff and students of TCS! “

” Trinity College School is a place where the teachers are excited to teach. The class sizes are smaller, with 5-15 kids per class, which means the teachers can pay more attention to the students, and really understand how to teach them individually. Most teachers are always available for after school help, because of the fact that a lot of the teachers live on or near campus. As a boarder, you feel connected to the house you are a part of, the house student leaders and the Heads of the Houses are always willing to talk and help people feel welcome. There are always house trips and events where people can feel like they’re apart of the community and have pride for their house. There are several traditions, like house debates, oxford cup, and bear fair that are individual or in houses that really give everyone a chance to shine. There are so many clubs, teams and opportunities for students to take initiative and be a part of. Athletics and arts are both things that are highly valued in addition to academics, which helps students become more well rounded people. While the school is one of the oldest schools in Ontario, the facilities and tools aren’t outdated. Teachers are always trying to improve and stay up to date on tech and understand what’s going on in the social environment. I chose this school over others which also seemed amazing because of the support that teachers give. There are so many opportunities for students to clarify, catch up and stay on time when faced with deadlines such as exams. TCS is really a place where people can thrive and find their people, while staying focused on academics and personal health. “
