” I would not recommend Blyth Academy to anyone. Very tricky fine print, and strict no-refund policy. The teacher my daughter had was useless. Never responded to her emails in a timely manner, continuously missed scheduled meetings, took forever to grade work, & unable to provide helpful feed-back. Complete waste of money. “

” This was a very long time ago when I took a course here but years later I think back to how this organization stole my parent’s money. I took calculus here hoping to get more support than my public school. My teacher, Taha Ayoub, was not just a poor teacher but a liar. Often times he would tell the class exactly what would be on the test and the answers he would expect, only to find out he graded tests completely different. His teachings did not reflect what he graded for. He continued to lie and lie and I ended up getting a mark I would have probably got at public school. I highly recommend you stay away from this location if Taha Ayoub is still teaching. “

” Our daughter was struggling terribly at the TDSB. Blyth has been amazing, smaller class sizes, super engaged teachers and staff have made all the difference. She has made friends and is happy to go to school, no more morning arguments about hating school. Compared to other private schools the tuition is really reasonable and totally worth it. “

” My son was not reaching his full potential at public high school. It was too big and he didn’t feel connected or motivated. When he joined Blyth Lawrence Park things improved steadily for a number of reasons. The classes are smaller with typically between 6 and 10 students which means that teachers had more time to spend helping students and were able to focus on individual needs. With the small classes the teachers get to know each student individually and forge a good relationship, this is something that never happened in the public system. The standards of the teachers are very high both in terms of personal character and qualifications, they are highly motivated and passionate about teaching. They really make a difference. Our son continues to thrive both academically and socially. He is enjoying school for the first time since grade school. He continuously receives good guidance counselling which has opened his mind to different options of study which he had never considered before. and this is helping him decide what he would like to study at university. We are happy with our decision to send our son to Blyth for grades 11 and 12 and are glad to see him enjoying school and learning again. “

” It is with a great deal of joy and pride to know that my son will be graduating from Blyth Academy after 4 years of support and guidance both academically and socially. He has the tools to move forward with confidence and the ability to navigate what lies ahead for him thanks to our decision to educate our son at Blyth. It has been a tremendous growing experience for all of us. Thank-you to all the enthusiastic and caring teaching and support staff at Blyth. Small class sizes, big hearts! “
