” Brooke Valley School is an excellent alternative school for parents that want or require a greater role in their children’s early education than is commonplace in most primary schools. The school has always been and remains a warm, gentle and caring environment for children of all ages. The surrounding schoolgrounds are replete with many different woodsy features that enhance the outdoor-focused lesson plans. Forested areas, a pond, walking trails as well as fields and playground equipment spread over several acres make for a peaceful environment for growing and learning. Brooke Valley School offers primary education for children from first grade through sixth grade, four days a week. The school employs methods found in Waldorf, Montessori, International Baccalaureate programming while using the Ontario curriculum as a guide. Children graduating from Brooke Valley School typically do very well socially and academically in other schools. I recommend Brooke Valley School on the basis of my experience as a parent, former staff, and current volunteer, having worked with multiple teachers and dozens of children and their parents over the years. “

” My granddaughter kendra attended school there for several years..coral is a wonderful teacher..she helped kendra in so many ways..she has since gone on to complete her first year of college in guelph..coral and all the parents are an amazing group of people..i would recommend Brooke valley school to everyone.. “
