” I have three children in elementary school, all of them have been growing and learning at Clearview since their kindergarten years. We are truly grateful to have Clearview as a place where our children receive a strong academic foundation while also learning important traditional values. Academic Excellence: As a family living in Canada, we did not expect our children to develop such strong Chinese language skills. One of my daughters, who is in Grade 1, is already able to read Chinese signs when we are out in the community—what a surprise! In math, the “differentiated instruction” (grouping by level) allows each of my children to learn at their own pace, building both solid skills and confidence. Heartfelt Care: Beyond academics, the teachers are deeply dedicated. We receive regular feedback on our children’s daily experiences—not just their grades, but their emotional well-being and personal growth. This allows us to better understand our children beyond the home environment and gives us great peace of mind as parents. Character & Community: Clearview emphasizes collaboration through unique projects, like the cross-grade school newspaper (Grade 1-7). From donating to food banks to local fundraising, our children are learning empathy and social responsibility in a very natural way. We feel very fortunate that our children are growing up in such a nurturing environment. Highly recommended! “

” My son has been attending Clearview School since the age of two and is now in Grade 3 . We are very happy that we chose Clearview for him. Finding a Chinese immersion school in Toronto is not easy, and Clearview really stands out. In addition to the Ontario curriculum, the school thoughtfully integrates Chinese language learning and traditional Chinese culture. Since preschool, my son has been introduced to classics such as San Zi Jing and Di Zi Gui in a very age-appropriate way, helping him build strong values and good habits early on. My son genuinely loves this school. Many of his friends have been with him since toddler age, and those long-term friendships mean a lot to him. Most days, he doesn’t want to leave after school, and he also enjoys participating in the Saturday programs at Clearview. The teachers, from daycare through elementary, are caring, dedicated, attentive, and knowledgeable. We truly appreciate how much heart they put into teaching. They care not only about academics, but also about character development. Whenever they feel there is something my son needs to improve, they gently reach out to me, which we truly value as parents. The school also offers wonderful music, arts, and extracurricular programs, including piano, instruments, dance, and creative activities. These programs give children opportunities to explore their interests and build confidence beyond the classroom. We are deeply thankful for the teachers and staff who have supported our child throughout the years. Clearview has truly become a second home for my son, and we feel very grateful that our child has grown up here. “

” Because we were not satisfied with the relatively loose teaching approach in public schools, we decided to transfer our daughter to Clearview. The small class setting allows teachers to truly pay attention to each child, and time has proven that this was the right decision. Since joining this school, our daughter has come home happy every day. She often talks about the friends she has made here and feels supported and encouraged by her teachers. The teaching approach at Clearview is more traditional. In addition to following the Ontario curriculum, the school also offers Chinese classes. The teachers are very dedicated and use a variety of strategies to help children improve academically, develop a love for reading, and build confidence in their learning. When the weather is nice, the school organizes many outdoor and off-site activities, such as visiting museums, observing the salmon run, and exploring nearby parks. These experiences are both fun and meaningful for the children. The teachers also organize fundraising activities and donate the money raised to support clean water projects in South Sudan. Through these activities, children broaden their horizons, learn to care about people in other parts of the world, and experience the value of helping others. We are truly grateful for the teachers’ thoughtful planning and organization. Our daughter loves every activity and always comes home excited to share her experiences with us. The school has now moved to a new campus with more space, giving children more opportunities for outdoor time, which is something we are very happy to see. If you are looking for a school where your child will not be distracted by a loose classroom environment, where they can receive strong academic and emotional support, and where they can also learn about traditional culture, I highly recommend Clearview. “

” I’m grateful for the day I discovered Clearview School for our two girls! They have both been attending the school for the past two years, and we are truly satisfied and happy. First of all, they genuinely love going to school and even miss it during vacation time, which for me as a mom is the number one indicator that I made the right choice for them. Secondly, both of my daughters entered the school with almost no English (as newcomers) and zero Chinese, and within just a few months they became fully fluent in English and now already have an advanced level of Mandarin. They are able to read, speak, and understand Mandarin, which is AMAZING! Teacher Lin is an exceptional and truly talented teacher. Thanks to Clearview’s teachers, they have also developed a love for reading classical literature, something they never enjoyed before. This year they have a special Classics Reading Club in English, and this year only they already read more than 10 books of classical English literature. On top of that, the extracurricular activities are unique, and both of my daughters especially love the dance classes. It is very touching for me to see their performances twice a year and to witness how much they have developed their performing and dancing skills. The staff is incredibly attentive, caring, and friendly. I truly feel that I can rely on them with any issue. Whenever needed, they are always open to listening and helping with my children’s needs or requests. Clearview School has become a second home for our family. I feel deep gratitude and confidence knowing that my daughters are learning, growing, and thriving in such a warm, inspiring, and supportive environment. “

” My daughter is currently in Grade 1 at the new Richmond Hill campus and we are very happy with her progress. The academic level here is actually quite high. They use Singapore Math, which is rare to find. My daughter mastered addition and subtraction within 100 in the first term, and she is already starting to learn multiplication now. The teachers are also great at motivating the kids to read. They give a star for every book read—my daughter and her friends have all collected over 100 stars already! Plus, the new campus has a big lawn for outdoor play, and they even have weekly French and Dance classes. My daughter is happy, confident, and learning way more than I expected. We love it here. It is a school for families who value academic rigor and a structured environment. “
