” Our child had a terrible time here. In the middle of trying to sort this out, the principal/owner Amir made it clear that this was a ‘business’ first, and that he cared very little about the experience of the children. We removed our child and thankfully, they are thriving at the other Montessori (shout out to Planted Seed!) and seem to be bouncing back. “

” Our daughter attended the GMS toddler program for the second half of the 23-24 school year, and absolutely thrived in the Montessori environment, with the support of incredible and caring teachers. Amir (the principal) was very attentive, flexible, understanding, and provided great service to us throughout. I’d highly recommend GMS! “

” Beware of the non-refundable deposit! My family and I have been going to GMS without incident for multiple years (multiple generations). Every year we are pestered to pay the next year’s deposit over 15 months in advance for the following year in order to save a spot for our child – paid Feb/March 2024 for June 2025. A couple months later, due to valid/unforeseen circumstances, we made the decision for our child to not come back for the Sept 2024-2025 school year. And asked in May for our deposit to be refunded, since the current year had not ended and the deposit was intended for June 2025. After receiving contradictory information (goal posts moving) from the owner, it became quite evident that we will not be getting our deposit back. Calling the owner of GMS and explaining the circumstances also got us nowhere as he just referred us back to the policy which essentially states the refund is at their discretion. I hope to save the next family from losing out on their deposit, based on a 1 sided policy in fine print and an inflexible and non-caring owner. I would highly recommend not paying the deposit until September if there are any doubts about moving,jobs,scheduling etc. Save your money and time and sign up with another daycare/school that cares about the wellbeing of the families and not just a paycheque! “

” Our boys have been attending the school since the Toddler Program (daycare) and we were so impressed with the teachers and the Montessori method that we decided to keep them there into the Elementary years (kindergarten and Grade 2). We love the community of parents and events that the school organizes. The Winter Concert is a highlight and very impressive! We also really appreciate the small class sizes and range of activities/subjects…yoga, music and French. Plus the class trips are great. We always feel as though the teachers go above and beyond plus they are very approachable and accessible to connect with for any of our questions/concerns. Highly recommend this school! “

Both my son and daughter go to this school and they love being there together. It is a small community and you can really feel the strength of the teaching and highly recommend this school! “
