” While this school offers a strong curriculum, the overall experience has been extremely disappointing due to poor management and unprofessional staff. The owners, particularly Stacy, lack the ability to handle situations appropriately and fairly. My daughter was unfairly dismissed without any opportunity for us to fully understand or address the situation. Before this incident, we had already experienced concerning behavior from Stacy. On one occasion, when my husband and I dropped off our daughter and asked if she could finish her cheese biscuit, Stacy reacted rudely and escalated the situation unnecessarily. Despite our repeated requests to have a private conversation in the office, she insisted on making a scene in front of her staff, seemingly to assert her authority. Additionally, it has become evident that families of color, particularly Black families, are treated unfairly. Numerous Black families, including ours, have faced unjust treatment and have ultimately withdrawn their children from the school. There was even a troubling incident where I was nearly hit by a car driven by a Black parent whi acts white whose child attends the school, yet no action was taken by the administration. The school’s lack of professionalism, poor conflict resolution, and discriminatory behavior are deeply concerning. I would not recommend this school to any family seeking a respectful and supportive educational environment. “
” A Long Overdue Thank You to GLA! When my mom and I arrived in Canada a few years ago, we faced the challenge of finding a school while waiting for our immigration process to be completed. I tried out for different private schools and eventually started attending GLA out of necessity. However, what started as a temporary solution quickly became a home. Even after I became eligible for public school, we chose to stay at GLA because of the warmth, support, and sense of family we found there. The dedication of the teachers, the way they collectively worked to help me improve my English within weeks, and the incredible opportunities in academics, STEM, public speaking, and one-on-one mentorship with the brothers all shaped my journey in ways I will never forget. From the annual school gala, where we performed and dined together, to the friendships and life lessons I gained, GLA was one of the most impactful schools I’ve attended—and I’ve studied in both Switzerland and Sweden. After five years, I moved on to MCA, but the foundation and experiences from GLA will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, and to the entire staff and students of 2017–2020—as a collective, you made my time at GLA an unforgettable experience. A very special thanks to Mrs. Josephs for her support and guidance. With love and gratitude, Emmanuel Francis “
” A beautiful school community filled with caring and supportive staff and parents. Our child really flourished in this school environment. If you are looking to raise your child in faith, with God at the centre of their learning, this is the place for you. Also academically strong programs even in kindergarten. “
