” i used to got there till gr 5 when i moved. you learn a lot more at hitherfield than in public school. Hitherfield has countless amazing extracurricular activities(e.g skiing)that can be enjoyed by everyone. 1000% reccomend worth the money “

” Hitherfield school is AMAZING! You learn a LOT of valuable information and you make so many new friends! There is a giant recess field and lots of areas to play with your friends every day. Unlike other schools, Hitherfield has an awesome learning system and the education is incredible. “

” In short, Hitherfield comes across as an established institution bequeathed by an incompetent and cash strapped administration with a short term outlook. Zachery, the head of admin, spoke with me on July 26 and assured me that my family and I may visit the school on Sep 12 (after we returned from vacation) and then decide whether to enrol our child at Hitherfield. However, he explained that since school starts before Sep 12, I should give him $1500 as a deposit to hold a spot for my child and if a waitlist situation arises that the school will contact me. I received no call from Hitherfield. We visited the school on Sep 12 as planned and did not find Hitherfield as exciting as a couple of other options so we informed Zachery of our decision. This is when Zachery completely two-faced me and explained that deposits are always non-refundable. I am dealing with this issue separately- updates to come based on Hitherfield’s response. But, this begs the question, why are deposits non-refundable? If my deposit robbed Hitherfield of the opportunity to earn a full year’s tuition from another potential applicant, then technically I should pay a full year’s tuition fee. But this is not the case. For now I will consider the $1500 a donation to an extremely cash strapped business and hope that the funds are used towards the well-being of the children at this school. Parents beware and do not get lured in. “

” This is such a gem of a school. Beautiful idyllic setting and amazing teachers and staff! Small classes so your child gets plenty of attention and care. The skiing and rock climbing is such an added bonus. My daughter started here this past year and she is thriving !! We love Hitherfield ❤️ “
