” Not a place where we can find flexibility to express thoughts and provide feedback. If there is a definition of micro mgmt , and lack of role clarity then this is a classic case study. Perfect sales pitch was delivered to us when we moved Oakville. The owners outshone on their pitch with passion during our introductory visit. The facilities looked appealing. We looked past a very important point about their average tenure of teachers was under 2 years, which they said was pandemic! Now flash forward from May to Oct. It’s Halloween time and school decides to have some art work, my child’s class teacher ( which also happens to be co-owner) gives some task to stick a very thin and fragile “bat” Unfortunately my child breaks it, and now all hell comes loose on us. Numerous follow ups that your child has broken craft. But here is the classic when I asked the owners what’s the big deal about the replacement , they say oh well your child broke this in aggression and your child admitted it. They are blaming a docile child as if the child has anger issues. And above all Ms Cindy shuts door in my face when I am having a constructive conversation. The reasons I would not even look at this: 1. Micromanagement of staff and unclear roles – the owners meddle , the passion is towards education is an obstruction for teachers to have autonomy 2. Lack of openness/ yes school is closed , and so are owners to feedback. You literally drop off your child at the door, and can’t even enter and see how is it like inside. They are living in Covid era and state it’s for keeping infections and germs away. The owners are closed to work with parents and receive feedback. 3. Absent communication – newsletters were stopped for many months , and upon asking was restarted. That’s basic for any school 4. No holiday concerts – no growth and social interactions with families and children I will stay away, and for many such reasons took my child out, very disappointed , humiliated and felt the urge to have a better place for my child. It maybe the place for you if you are looking to drop off and pickups, and hop on to your go train, with a robotic and nonchalant way. But if you are looking for your child’s development , 360 feedback, the to and fro with the teachers , then look somewhere else. All the very best! “

” As an educator, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the growth and development my son has experienced at Kinderhuis. The support and dedication from the entire staff, particularly Mr. Bill and Mrs. Cindy, have been exceptional. They genuinely care about the children and maintain excellent communication with parents. I’ve had no complaints and am very grateful for their commitment to nurturing and educating my child. “

” We enrolled our kid here and loved the progress made in his verbal, physical and overall independent development. Bill and Cindy along with the teachers ensure the best care and attention are provided to the kid and notify the parents on any matter which needs attention. We had to move our kid out this month but will really miss everyone there. “

” My daughter went here. The owners, Cindy and Bill are lovely people who care about the kids and the parents. All the staff are also wonderful! Food: They also have very good vegetarian options for the kids and it’s not just cheese every meal, every day. They keep the vegetarian options similar looking to the non-vegetarian option, which I thought was nice. Program: This is a CCMA Montessori and they just have a wonderful setup. The areas havd tall ceilings and a lot of light coming into the rooms. We noticed changes in our daughter and her independence right away and just in general. We would recommend this Montessori to anyone! “

” Kinderhuis Montessori school is absolutely amazing. Both of my boys attended the school and I could not have been happier with the attention, education and care the school provided. Miss Cindy and Mr. Bill are phenomenal individuals who genuinely care about the children. Both of my boys were very well taken care of and progressed so much both intellectually and emotionally while at the school. I felt totally at ease and trusted that my kids were in great hands. “
