” The best and affordable bilingual school in Toronto. If you want your kids to get THE best education, come in and have a look. Je sais de quoi je parle, mes deux enfants y ont passé 15 ans. We have a great community feeling and it’s very welcoming. 🤍🩵❤️

” I’m the Head of School of the Lycée Français de Toronto. I wish to respond with a review to the unjustified attacks that have taken place on this platform for which we can no longer have access in order to respond directly. Unfortunately, it is now commonplace to have anonymous people on social networks who are not honest in their comments, for a variety of reasons. I’d like to set the record straight, and above all invite people to come and see for themselves the kind of unique and professional establishment we are. For the pseudo Karina Marina : We take all feedback seriously and are committed to fostering an open and constructive dialogue. However, we firmly refute the claims made in your comment, which do not reflect the reality of our institution, its values, or the experience of our students and families. The Lycée Français de Toronto (LFT) is an independent, non-profit private school that has been dedicated to academic excellence and the personal development of students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our mission is to provide a rigorous French education in a multicultural and inclusive environment, helping students grow into thoughtful, innovative, and socially responsible individuals. Commitment to student well-being and ethical conduct At LFT, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We have strict policies and protocols in place to ensure a secure and respectful learning environment. Allegations regarding inappropriate behavior by staff members are both unfounded and defamatory. Any concerns of this nature are taken with the utmost seriousness and addressed following rigorous ethical and legal procedures. Our team is composed of highly qualified, caring, and dedicated educators, who are committed to the academic and personal growth of every student. A strong anti-bullying policy and confidentiality measures We uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and ensure that any reports are handled with confidentiality, diligence, and support for those involved. Any suggestion that the school disregards bullying concerns is misleading and does not reflect the comprehensive approach we take to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Diversity, inclusion, and accessibility LFT is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming students from all backgrounds. The claim that we show favoritism based on socio-economic status or nationality is entirely false and misrepresents our admissions process wich is based on academic preparedness, and alignment with our mission and values—not on nationality, socio-economic status, or any other unrelated factors. Additionally, we continuously work to improve accessibility and ensure that all students, regardless of physical or learning needs, can thrive in our environment. Facilities and financial transparency As a non-profit organization, LFT carefully allocates resources to maintain the highest standards of education. Any tuition adjustments are made to sustain our programs and services while ensuring long-term financial stability. The idea that we “lie” about our facilities is inaccurate—our school remains transparent about its infrastructure improvements and strategic planning, always aiming to provide students with a quality learning environment. A school that stands out LFT is Toronto’s only French private school accredited by the French Ministry of Education to the Grade 12, allowing students to receive a globally recognized education. Our multilingual and multicultural approach blends the excellence of the French academic curriculum with the richness of the Canadian environment, setting us apart from other institutions. While we respect the right to express opinions, we must emphasize that defamatory and false statements are harmful to our dedicated educators, staff, and students. We encourage constructive discussions and invite those with genuine concerns to engage with us directly through the appropriate channels. “

” We’re happy with the school! My daughter feels safe and loves being there. The kindergarten has such a caring vibe, almost like a home, which is great for the kids. The staff is super qualified, with high credentials from France. There’s also a strong French community, which makes it easy for the kids to reach a native level in the language. The families are friendly, and the parent association does a great job creating a close-knit community. “

” My daughter has been attending LFT for 6 years now. As a family that doesn’t speak French or English at home, I am absolutely amazed by how my child has developed native-level bilingualism in both French and English, thanks to LFT. With a balanced and rigorous curriculum, children have the opportunity to expand their academic knowledge while also fostering a sense of responsibility and autonomy. It’s not just about languages – but also math, science, sports, and more. The school community is warm and welcoming, and my child has developed not only academically but also socially and emotionally. The teachers genuinely care about each student’s success and well-being. I am incredibly grateful to the entire LFT staff for providing my child with such a wonderful educational experience. I couldn’t be more pleased with our choice of school “

” This school is quite possibly one of the worst you could find, especially it being a private school. From the uncaring staff to the decaying building and clear lack of organization skills, this school is truly not a good choice. The staff do not care about the children and some of them make it quite clear that they hate the students, not to mention how some of them are inappropriately involved with minors, mixing themselves with parties thrown by the higher grades, or look at the students in a sexual manner, and that’s just talking about the “education aids” who are meant to take care of the children during their breaks. The people who actually run the school vary from egocentric to absolutely a horrible choice to work with children, often mixing both. The school’s “anti bullying policy” is a lie, considering that they do not do anything about actual bullies and do not keep anything students who are forced to confide in them about their mental health private, as they told the students they would. They actually seem to be quite comfortable in lying, considering they lie on open doors days to families visiting about the building to make the school seem more appealing. It is doubtful if the people in charge have any sense of shame, considering they make no efforts to listen to valid questions or requests from both parents and students, lie often times and perform clear favoritism for french or rich people, holding them up with more appreciation when considering who to let study in there, and performing clear favoritism between the class of students who paid more and less when the international section was more expensive. The school has many gaps in the schedule or difficulty organizing and they removed the extra languages years ago, under the pretext of having “not enough money”, despite the building being falling apart and the tuition fees being extremely high and rising. The school is also not accessible for kids with disabilities, whether mental or physical, and is not a better choice compared to other French schools in Toronto , considering they have nothing that sets them apart positively, but do in a negative way. “
