Mariyah Islamic School
” This school is the worst school ever, My kids had a bad experience, some kids are bullies and think they are better then another, very disgusting and gross place, flies everywhere that hatch eggs, and teachers don’t do anything they just sit there and make the kids confused. Teachers get very un patient with the kids, and i wouldn’t suggest in rolling your child if they cant speak the same language as them because it will be very hard on them. Washrooms are filthy and mold is everywhere. I wonder if this school will ever get checked, because its disgusting and un excusable. “
” Honestly, if you are looking for your kids to be protected and safe, this is one of the top schools in the GTA. Good education but more importantly, great Tarbiyyah and discipline and a balanced and practical Islamic teaching methodology. Alhumdulillah since my kids have joined, I have noticed significant improvements in their behaviour and confidence. They have memorized many surahs and they read their Quraan with Tajweed. My daughter loves to share something she learned daily about Islam. Not to mention, her vocabulary has blossomed significantly. Best of all, you literally pay what you can afford. So many other Islamic schools are way too expensive. Also, the staff are very approachable and helped understand and resolve my concern regarding a lunch issue that my child had. I just think they should expand and put themselves more out there because Mashallah!! they’re doing a marvellous job with the children and youth. Alhumdulillah it’s a blessing to have such schools in Canada. “
” My children have been studying for the last 4 years at Mariyah School. I signed up for the transportation service which they helped me at a very affordable cost Alhamdulillah I have had no issues so far. They have a great bright Gym that my kids love and a fantastic facility. This is the ONLY Islamic School which has a HUGE gym for the kids. My kids love this school and their staff are also great with kids. Thanks to all the teachers and management who are making great efforts to run the school. It is not easy with zero Government support and funding. I would highly recommend this school to others. “
