” went here to a good accepting environment nice teachers and a decent foundation. obviously room for improvement in many ways. good energy and good activities like wildfire and musical opportunity. I will leave out some facts because my experience was decent and wouldn’t want to put them down in any way. overall good environment and activities and a good community with much room for opportunities. (3.5 stars) “
” I felt compelled to address some of the negative reviews I have read here. Let me begin by stating that NCA is a wonderful experience for any student to participate in. It is more than worth the money to give any student a chance to avoid the too-common pitfalls of ‘traditional’ high school education and social dogma. Not only is the education here a top priority, but the daily focus on kindness, respect, community service, and inclusion begs to spread to more than just those who are lucky enough to attend. Regarding the unfounded allegation of ‘transphobia’ posted by another reviewer, I think this attempt at character assassination is just the sort of thing Nancy Campbell is against, and I would challenge that reviewer to post something much more specific than the simple vagaries that were posted. Is it possible that there was a misunderstanding? I’m betting yes. In the many years of exposure I have had with the school, there has never been even a whiff of what this accuser is alleging. Unsafe? No. Just no. I can state unequivocally that I do not fit into any one of the three items one poster stated as a prerequisite to naming this ‘one of the best high school experiences.’ Ridiculous. The teachers here are qualified. It is naive to think that achieving a degree automatically qualifies one for anything. Experience is the key. Some of the posters who have decided to take their time to post something not only negative, but outlandishly so, and with absolutely no specifics reveals the character of the posters in the all-too-easy path that many decide to take today: Why participate in a meaningful way and actually initiate a discussion when you can hide behind the computer and take a no-accountability approach and burn people down? Nancy Campbell, at the end of the day, is not a perfect place. So what does Nancy Campbell do? They TRY. They try to leave the world and the people in it a better place than they found them, and in doing so, they achieve excellence. “
” Thank you guys so much for helping me graduate and move onto an amazing university, I really couldn’t have done it without the amazing administration, and the virtues of Love and Unity that the school so heavily incorporates in its everyday routine. The foundation of consultation that the school is built upon could not be possible without the amazing staff that are available at the school to help every student, including myself. They were able to make insightful choices for me that I was incapable of, and that has taught me so much. The guidance at this school is truly phenomenal. NCA is the best school I have ever been in the presence of. I’m so grateful for this experience that I had the opportunity of receivingand that I hope many others will get the opportunity to share. They have amazing teachers who can teach your child so much both intellectually and spiritually. If you want to to give your child the best high school experience possible, then, by all means, contact the school for an interview. “
” A safe, academic, and moral leadership focused private school in the beautiful city of Stratford. Youth are required to do more than the standard level of volunteer hours and find purpose through service trips abroad, exclusive world citizenship courses and constantly striving for excellence in all things, especially academics. “
