North Toronto Christian School
” i think this school is fine but im so tired of how they force their students to swim 12 classes each year when some students dont feel comfortable swimming. they should be given a choice to swim or not but they still force you to because they dont care. some teachers dont understand that social anxiety exists and it is very common these days. other than that, most students are nice but if you want your child to be depressed then make them go to this school. “
” I genuinely enjoyed the school, it was a good environment and I liked the teachers, mostly supportive and helpful staff. Chandos was like the best part of every year but sometimes the workload got a bit out of control, especially towards the end of the year. I do wanna mention that for like half of the school year the girls change room was infested with wasps and every two days when we had gym, we were all fighting for our lives trying to stop the wasps. Most of us ended up being late to class due to spending 10+ minutes killing wasps and trying to drown them. The school eventually fixed it after like a whole 4 months but that was a genuinely traumatizing experience. Overall I highly recommend this school, but swimming is apart of the gym curriculum so if you really don’t want to swim then coming here might not be the best idea for you. “
” I really don’t recommend going to this school for middle schoolers, you basically have no events or clubs to participate in. And for the swimming session of gym, you are forced to go into the water unless you have a parents note. The is also VERY unsanitary, with water fountains that provide literal white coloured water. Teachers also do not care about your children’s wellbeing, i feel like some don’t even know what they are teaching. This place ruined my middle school experience. “
” Teachers seems to be not too equip with meeting the student’s needs. As a Christian school there is not enough positive communication to build loving relationship with parents and children. I gave a 2 stars because I believes there are some genuine and high standard teachers in the school. “
” I am thrilled to write a review about my daughter and son’s school. The teachers and classmates are incredibly friendly, making the school feel like a second home to my children. I have noticed significant progress in their academic and personal growth since enrolling in this school. Additionally, the activities organized by the school, especially those held at Chandos Lake, are simply amazing. My kids always have a fantastic time participating in these events. If there was one area for improvement, it would be to incorporate more sports activities. Nonetheless, I am grateful for the supportive learning environment and the dedication of the school staff in nurturing my children’s development. Overall, I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe, welcoming, and nurturing educational institution for their children. “
