Northstar Montessori Private School

” This is long overdue as we’ve had our daughter enrolled in the Casa program at NorthStar Montessori for the past 2 school years and we couldn’t have made a better decision. We knew 2 weeks in her first year that it was the absolute right place for her. Our daughter has progressed and developed so much since she’s been here, her language, math, reading, practical and social skills amaze us everyday. The main classroom teachers are loving, caring, they have exceptional interpersonal and professional skills and are exceptionally well prepared. They look after these kids with an unparalleled level of care, attention and professionalism. They are very thoughtful, helpful, supportive, accommodating, responsive, kind, patient and keep constant communication with parents. Teachers go above and beyond, they take their time and discuss every situation/issue and progress report with us. I don’t have enough praise words for Mrs Scott and Ms Resendes as well as her former teachers, Mrs Segura&sMrs Nadeem. Vice Principal is the warmest person ever, with a fantastic memory and attention to detail and so are the specialty teachers. School is big, classrooms are spacious, well equipped and kept clean and tidy. There’s a big gym, music and arts classrooms with fantastic and engaging teachers. School has it’s own kitchen and my daughter loves the food more than mine ( I actually am a decent cook). Food is fresh, cooked on site and with an extensive menu parents can choose from so it’s not boring for the kids. The school has a great outdoor area and their own pool where kids take swimming lessons as part of their regular curriculum but can also do private swimming lessons. I have tried and failed several times at getting my daughter to not scream for dear life in water with other swimming schools, here it took them 1 session to turn her around. There are also lots of afterschool clubs kids can participate in and can enjoy different activities. I am sure I am forgetting something but my daughter LOVES going to school every day, she’s a very happy child, having fun while learning lots. Northstar Montessori is an excellent school in all aspects, it truly embodies the Montessori principles with child-focused learning at it’s core. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a school for their kiddos. “

” Northstar montessori has taught our 2.5 year old son so much in just over a month. The teachers, principle and vice principle have been helpful and accommodating with our son struggling to adjust to being in care. That being said he talks about how much he loves school and his teachers. We feel we made the perfect choice to have our son attend Northstar and when we drop him off we feel the care received is the same care and love he is used to at home. “

” We started with toddler program at NMPS. I would say it is costly compare to daycare but the change that I have seen in my baby is incredible. The teachers are so supportive and they give you such good advice. Mrs. Velasco, Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. Linnet are amazing. My baby learnt music too and is always excited whenever there is a gym class. He will be going to Pre-Casa from September. I would recommend the school. “

” Excellent school! I never wrote reviews but this one is an exception as I have had such a wonderful experience with the school! I have seen my son grow and become so independent. The teachers are amazing. They really take care of the child and nurture them. The teachers worked with us through all our concerns and ALWAYS answered any questions we had. The vice principal too is so warm and supportive. She is always available for guidance. My son LOVED going to school and looked forward to go every single day- there has not been even a single day when he has said no for school. All in all- this is one of the best schools out there! “
