Oro Medonte Forest School
” We have attended OMFS for years, and so appreciate our experience. We first joined for Forest Fridays, a parent and toddler program. Staff and families were warm and welcoming, activities included a range of options to engage a wide range of children (and their families), ages and interests. Upon reaching school-age, we have continued to send our child 1 day/week. They continue to thrive, and share stories of connection with nature, peers and staff each week. Staff are patient, friendly, caring and risk-aware, encouraging exploration within reasonable boundaries. We appreciate knowing our child is well cared for every week, while they have fun learning and growing outdoors. Now that we, as parents, are no longer participating in the program, we receive detailed updates and some pictures about the explorations and discoveries every week. (Winter weather and snow days in particular can be tricky, so that element is worth being aware of) “
” Two years in a row I’ve tried to sign up and send my kids here. I logged in at the exact time registration started each time. Both years they were declined entry to attend. Why on earth would I recommend a place that repeatedly shows poor communication, zero effort, with a complete lack of transparency of how kids are chosen. Not a place I would trust with my kids if registration alone is so poor. “
