Pearson International College
” You will hear this place talk a lot about ‘industry connections’ and ‘being part of a FTSE100 company. In reality, there is minimal industry interaction, disgracefully poor tutors, and a lack of student focus. Coming to study here is the worst decision I have ever made in my life, and it infuriates me to see how much I owe this organisation. This is not a university, it’s a fake education program set up by a big company to scam students out of money with fake lectures and promises of industry connections that don’t exist. A few lecturers at the university have been recorded in a room (unknowingly) being racist about students – without knowing the room was being recorded for an online lecture that got moved. “
” Don’t even bother applying here. I was told by the admissions team that no students will be enrolled because they did not get enough applicants. There are two reasons why this could have happened: bad student experiences or terrible/no advertising. Because they have told me in such short notice, I am having complications with student finance and admissions to my substitute choice of university. I was looking forward to coming here and am very disappointed. “
” It has been quite enjoyable for me, despite having gone through the COVID years of education. However, you can clearly see that Pearson’s are trying to make an effort with regards to creating a good atmosphere on campus (which is relatively small for a university campus) and to offer students the best industry-related and professional advice. I attended PBS (Pearson’s Business School) and I enjoyed the course. There was a good variety of different aspects of business which were touched upon such as Introduction to Business, Contract Law, Strategic Marketing, Behaviour Management etc. But all-in-all not a bad university. One thing I would recommend is looking into the degree apprenticeships – they are great. You essentially get paid to go to university. “
” In my 2nd year and attending Pearson has been the best decision of my life. The people are amazing, the tutors are even better, the atmosphere is great and studying here really gave me a taste of working within a business environment. Proud and honoured to be able to say Pearson is my University! “
” Demand driven Business School with options for Graphic/Animation design. As well as a range of finance, Law and Business management programmes. Industry focused education, with a hand in multiple industries. If you want to learn with hands on experience, then this is the place. “
