” After many years in the Montessori system, we were looking for a new challenge and environment for our child headed into grade 6. One with a larger tech component and a broader range of activities to go along with a strong traditional education. I am not sure how PCS does not have more reviews but they have really knocked it out of the park so far. The pride they take in managing the school and their children is evident as soon as you walk in and our son loves it thus far. “
” We had high hopes for our 4 year old attending JK here and were sadly disappointed. My son struggles with social anxiety or “stage fright” as his speech Pathologist explains it. I was told daily that my son doesn’t understand instructions and has pushed some kids. I sent techniques that we use with him at home, but given that he was in a new environment with a bunch of new faces, he didn’t respond well to those techniques. After 6 days they decided he would need one on one help for the rest of the school year and that would have to be paid for by me but selected/hired by them. There was no serious effort to collaborate and help accommodate my son, despite my many offers to work with him at home on whatever he was struggling with. No evident early education techniques or approaches taken to help him. No interest in affording him more time to adjust. It was a clear case of, your son isn’t perfect, he has to go. Not very Christian like. “
