Richmond Hill Montessori Private School
” This school is a great place to build a solid educational foundation for a child. The facility is expansive for an elementary school. Resources and facilities are current and up to date including the technology in the classroom (SMART boards). The teachers are compassionate and dedicated, and issues are either resolved in an appropriate timeframe or they are immediately referred to admin if necessary. The program is advanced, but teachers are willing to adjust to their students’ needs. Staff are proactive with student progress, and are very responsive when parents have questions and concerns. “
” RHMS has to be the absolute worst school I have ever gone to in my whole life. Not only was I bullied countless times every single day, from junior kindergarten to grade three, but the teachers did NOTHING about it. On the first day of school, in grade two, I came home with a black eye from being punched in the face. Once, when I told a teacher I was being hit by another student, I was told that, and I quote, “the complaints center is closed for the day”. What kind of teacher carelessly dismisses a child who is actively being hurt? Do they not look out for the well-being of their students AT ALL? My parents had to get involved several times, and in the end, I had to switch schools because the principal AND the teachers had done absolutely NOTHING to make this school a safer learning environment. This school has done nothing good for me. It has given me severe trust issues, and horrible memories. If you’d prefer to keep your child/children happy, please do not put them in this school. “
” My kid has been in RHMS since JK. Here is just a like a big family, all teachers and staffs are very dedicated. We are really appreciated that RHMS provide a positive and progressive environment for the students. Offering our kid very strong academic and character achievement. Especially in academic, RHMS has really strong reputation in the system. That’s why he could have the opportunity to get offer from UCC. This honour is not only belongs to us but also belongs to RHMS. Again, very appreciated everything RHMS did for my kid and our family. “
” RHMS has a rigorous academic curriculum that ensured that both my children were well prepared when it came to to put through applications for continued studies elsewhere. Our family truly appreciates the full hearted attention and dedication that all the faculty gave our children through the years. We will always have fond memories of our time there. “
