” First, make sure all your child’s teachers are actually Ontario Certified Teachers. You’d be astonished if you knew how many so-called “teachers” in this building don’t have professional credentials. “

” My son has been attending this school since he was just 2 years old, and now he’s 11. Over the years, we’ve been absolutely blown away by the incredible dedication, passion, and care shown by almost every single teacher. There was one exception a few years ago, which nearly made us leave, but the way the school handled it showed their commitment to improvement and excellence. The positive impact these teachers have had on my son’s development, confidence, and love for learning is truly priceless. Honestly, the teachers here are the heart and soul of the school more important than the facilities, curriculum, or anything else. I wholeheartedly recommend this school and strongly encourage them to keep bringing in exceptional teachers who inspire and shape young minds so beautifully. A.K. “

” This year is our 4th year with Tall Pines School. We chose this school for its reputation and on recommendation by several parents. Our overall experience through these years has been pleasant. Mr. Mark and Ms. Tait, have been understanding and helpful by acknowledging our requests either by accommodation or consultation. We have been fortunate to have four highly experienced home room teachers. The bond teachers share with their students is evident. For us, each year is getting better and better. We appreciate Mr. Mark’s and Ms. Tait’s genuine efforts and vision to prepare their students for future (sweet and sour) challenges. A school is a place where each kid’s education should matters, whether the kid is at Ace or Base. I’d highly recommend Tall Pines School from our experience. “

” I can relate to a lot of the negative reviews that have been previously mentioned. Not worth your child’s time. Save your money and have your children attend a different school, you won’t get much more here being a “private school” . Seems as though any net income being generated is going into pockets as opposed to being capitalized to create something that could be good. Only a few good teachers left here but have a feeling they will be leaving soon. Management is horrible, no accountability, no proper procedures, curriculum is non-existent and if you complain or say something they don’t like they just stop responding to you or make it seem like you are the unreasonable one , whatever happen to customer service, and compassion? It’s like the place is run by high school adolescents. Just run away promise you won’t regret it. “

” My son has been attending this school since 2017. The concepts with which they learn are fantastic & make me wish for a do-over for my own education. The teachers are caring and communicate everything your child is doing learning. All staff are open to regular communication if you want to know more or have questions about any concerns you have. They have done an excellent job during COVID of maintaining a curriculum using Teams and finding virtual websites that can track their progress for math, language and reading. The Administration has tried to be as organized as possible while things have constantly changed during this pandemic. My son looks forward to going to school every day & desires to learn because of the teachers diligence. Focusing on responsibility, independence & the individual translates to helpfulness at home because it is an extension of what he is taught at school. This school is definitely a place to consider if you’re looking for a quality private education. Since a change in ownership the quality of the school is not the same. The teaching is no longer Montessori in the grade school levels and that was not what I wanted. Management is more concerned about expansion than proving my son with a quality education for the tuition I paid. If I wanted a regular private school I could go anywhere. My son stopped wanting to go to school & wasn’t interested in doing his best his last year there. We have since moved out of the area & no longer attend. “
