” The Cole Academy (TCA) was exactly what we were looking for, for our son. Like many parents, we want to give our kids the best chance to reach their full potential, in elementary school and beyond. Our local public school has great teachers, and did its best with limited resources. The reality is that some kids, like ours, don’t thrive in a traditional structured classroom based on rote learning. TCA offers active learning with an emphasis on group activity, and outdoor time. They have a brand-new commercial kitchen, so the kids also learn practical skills such as cooking and baking. Since it is a new school, the teachers are still fine-tuning their processes, but our experience has been very positive so far. I think Principal Milroy and his team have done a great job launching TCA in the Beaches community, and encourage other parents to explore this new learning opportunity. “

The teachers are passionate and make learning fun, so it’s no wonder he loves them. He especially loves Outdoor Fridays, and Cooking Thursdays. “
