The teachers, and the staff are the heart of the school. They are exceptionally attentive, compassionate, and deeply committed to each child’s development. Because class sizes are kept small, every child receives individualized attention that is simply not possible in most public-school settings. We’ve seen firsthand how our children are not just recognized by name but understood in personality, interests, and needs. As parents, we couldn’t ask for more. There’s tremendous peace of mind in knowing that our children are not only being taught, but genuinely cared for. ” Our daughter Maya started at Laurel over a year ago and she absolutely loves it there. The teachers are attentive and really care about your kids. The school is owned by an amazing family that goes above and beyond for the kids. Maya is in senior preschool and she is already sounding out words, writing and gaining math skills. ” We’ve had a wonderful experience with The Laurel School for our child. While the school is smaller in size, it’s absolutely perfect for young learners. The environment is warm, nurturing, and thoughtfully designed to support their growth. The staff are exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. It’s clear they are passionate about early childhood education, which has made us feel confident and reassured every step of the way. One of the highlights of the school is its excellent language program. Our child was introduced to multiple languages in a fun and engaging manner, which not only enhanced their learning experience but also sparked a genuine interest in exploring new languages. Additionally, we’ve been thoroughly impressed with the wide variety of after-school extracurricular programs offered. From sports to creative activities, the school provides numerous options that cater to diverse interests. The partnerships they’ve built with program providers ensure the extracurricular offerings are of the highest quality, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into providing meaningful and enriching opportunities for students. The only area where we saw room for improvement was the outsourced lunch program, which didn’t quite match the high standards set by the rest of the school experience. This was a personal preference for us, so we chose to pack our child’s lunch instead. However, this is a minor concern in the grand scheme of all the wonderful aspects the school offers. We are truly grateful to have found such a supportive and enriching place to begin our child’s educational journey, and we would wholeheartedly recommend The Laurel School to other families. “
