” My son started attending Owls Nest after a long struggle with not fitting into the public school box. We exhausted all of our options and landed here with a recommendation from our sons doctor. It’s a breath of fresh air to have such an accommodating place for kids to learn and willing to work with each child based on where they are at. ” The most amazing school you will ever find for your children! Located on an organic farm. Teachers are incredibly passionate about their work. Children of all ages THRIVE learning everything you would in a ‘regular school’ but in real life/ hands on settings which keeps them engaged and helps them retain the knowledge so much better than sitting at a desk all day doing work sheets. My children are genuinely sad that summer vacation is coming because they will miss going every day! ” I cannot put into words how much this school means to us. I like to think of The Owls Nest Holistic Alternative School as a hidden gem that I get to share with others! My son wakes up every morning excited to go to school. He has come home with new vocabulary and constantly tells us about his adventures at school. (Collecting eggs, feeding the pigs, making so many crafts & ALWAYS bringing home “treasures”) There is no doubt that he has developed a greater sense of independence and confidence since attending… We are so grateful he has this opportunity! My child’s teacher does an amazing job selecting and setting up exploratory, hands-on activities. I love that my son’s daily rhythm includes ample time to move and be outside. The activities are spot-on enjoyment for little explorers. I nearly cried while reading his in-depth “Learning Report”. It was like a little story all about him and his time at The Owls Nest! The pictures were such a sweet added touch. 🥺 “

Our sweetest boy struggled & fell behind in public school – and owl’s nest was the perfect alternative for him. The most beautiful, organic learning environment where the teacher/child ratio is more like 1/8 vs 1/28 was exactly what he needed. He is growing and flourishing and we couldn’t be happier!
