” We’ve been a part of the Toronto Nature School family for three incredible years, with our daughter attending twice a week since first grade (while being homeschooled). This experience has profoundly nurtured her love for the outdoors, transforming her into a little explorer brimming with curiosity and critical thinking skills. She often faces challenges with a resilient spirit, proudly saying, “I am a nature school kid,” ready to tackle anything with confidence. The small class sizes and individualized attention have allowed her to thrive, making lifelong friends and developing a keen interest in identifying animal tracks, nature’s patterns and plants. The welcoming environment, wonderful educators, and hands-on learning approach have not only enhanced her academic journey but also fostered a deep connection with nature. It has been such a dramatically different experience to the public school experience, in so many ways – all of which are overwhelmingly positive. And it was the right choice for our family. We’re grateful that we live near the Beach and found Toronto Nature School! It’s been a unique educational journey for sure, and we are thrilled with the lasting impact it’s had on our daughter’s development. I cannot recommend TNS enough. “

” I really only have positive things to say about this place! My daughter is on Day 3 of her Winter Camp session and we’ve been very pleased so far. I love the concept of getting kids outside to explore nature – rain or shine! I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t a bit anxious about the frigid temps (only had one really cold day) but the kids did amazing and were encouraged to keep moving to stay warm! My daughter has been talking to me about the things she’s learned – like types of trees and/or birds you can find in the ravine nearby. Pretty incredible what they learn in such a short period of time. Very happy to so far and will certain have my 4 year old return again at some point. Thanks everyone at Toronto Nature School! “
