” Picking the right school for your most valuable and most vulnerable loved ones is not easy. We spent a year searching for the right place. one that not only shared our family values but also used up to date teaching methods to ensure the next generation of citizens is well equipped to navigate the complex world around them. That was the criteria we used in selecting this school. Our experience since September has been nothing short of awe and admiration for the passion, hard work, and genuine care shown toward every single child in this faculty’s care. My four year old experienced a few motivational setbacks, which I’m sure is normal among many JK students during the early weeks of a new routine. His teachers and the staff made him feel as though they are his extended family. He truly loves each of his teachers and speaks about them as if they are family. It has only been a short few months, yet we are impressed daily by how much valuable knowledge he has already gained. Thank you all so much for everything you do that we witness daily, as well as the tireless work done after hours that we don’t see. ” The school lacks experience in dealing with children. Staff often act defensively and blame the child instead of addressing real issues between students. They don’t seem to realize that kids can have conflicts, and sometimes there’s unfair treatment or favoritism. “

” We were looking for an alternative to the public school system and discovered Ummaty last summer. It was the perfect fit for us ! We needed professional, experienced teachers to teach the Ontario curriculum, in an islamic environment. . After 7 months with them, I can share my personal experience. I found the staff professional, kind, supportive, creative in their teaching, and the list goes on! I love the small classes because it gives my daughter the support she needs. She feels mentally stimulated. They do lots of hands-on activities and she loves it! As for religion, I like that she learns religion and the Quran during the week (tajweed classes, Islamic studies, Jumah prayer, morning adkar, etc.). I could go on for pages about why we are very happy and highly recommend Ummaty, but I will conclude by saying that their sincere care for our daughter is a peace of mind we cannot describe. She feels listened to & acknowledged. We, as parents, feel the same. My daughter has allergies and I worry sometimes. They always listen to me and reassure me, saying: “Don’t worry, she’s like our daughter ». I registered my 2nd daughter next year! “
