” The material provided is much better than today’s in-person learning. In my view, some material can be omitted because of my religious background in the social studies section. Sometimes during the day, the material does not load, especially after 2:30 -3 p.m. It is frustrating because, during the day, we take our kids to other activities to build social skills with their peers. “

” IT is an AMAZING school my kid loves and there are amazing activities to do. And I recommend it because there is no bullying and we’ve had a problem with that in the past schools but now we don’t it is an amazing school and I love it and my kid loves it “

” My son and I have been very pleased with VES. The course content, which is aligned with the Ontario curriculum, is easy to follow and engaging. I’m most impressed with the well thought out format. So much more organized and productive than when my son attended virtual school through our school board. We can cover the material at our own pace. The customer service has been excellent when we’ve had questions. The school also has a lot of virtual “field trips” with museums, scientists, authors, which my son has really enjoyed. The forensics workshop was really fun. Overall, I’m thrilled and relieved that VES was an option for us this past year. “

” This is our first year with VES. My daughter enjoys the lessons and the flexibility to work at her own pace. The lessons are easy to follow and are very efficient in delivering the concepts. The zoom Whale Trail presentation was a big hit with my daughter. She was bursting with new information she learned and gladly shared it with the rest of the family. The school staff is extremely friendly and ready to assist. It surprised me how quick and easy the registration process was. I am so happy to have found a school that meets our family needs 100% Thank you VES staff!!! “

” My son is taking Grade 6 English with Virtual Elementary and I’m very happy with the program. All of the required reading is age appropriate and engaging, and the assignments are extremely varied. Our teacher provides a couple paragraphs of detailed feedback. (I never got that in school!) We even joined an optional book club (over Zoom) and it’s fantastic! The teacher has a MLS and picks out wonderful books. My son’s favourite authors are from this class. The workload of assignments (about 1 per week) seems like more than our school friends are doing, but I don’t think we spend more than 5 hours per week on the program. I recommend this program and plan to use it for both of my children again next year. Thank you. “
