” I attended the open house at Victoria Montessori in Winter 2023 and at that moment I should have followed my ‘gut’ feeling of walking out and keeping the search for a daycare going. Something didn’t seem ‘genuine’ and I felt nervous. I decided to enroll my 2 children anyway for Fall 2024 start date, mostly due to pressure of availability from their office staff. Unfortunately, a few life-altering situations occurred back-to-back that resulted in me having to pull their application. How DISSAPOINTED I am with how the school handled my situation is a true understatement. They not only tried to ‘steal’ the $4,000 I had put down, but were unempathetic, didn’t reply to emails unless I followed up multiple times, I had to call from different phone numbers as they would not pick up when my name and number appeared on their display, when I challenged why they were not refunding me the annual fees, registration fees etc., when my kids haven’t even attended yet, the manager would hang up the phone on me – Customer service is non-existent. They kept referring back to ‘you signed a contract’. That was the only excuse they had for not refunding my money. Victoria Montessori has a looong way to go to reach their mission statement ‘creating a home away from home’ – they are running a business purely for profit not because they care. Heartbreaking to experience how they gladly took my money, as a struggling single mom, who felt completely helpless when her life unfolded in front of her. “

” My daughter started in September 2021 when she was 2 years old. Now she is almost 5 years old still in this school. She likes the school, she always talk to me she makes friends, teachers are nice to her too. I can see her face is happy when I pick up her. My girl got more independent in the past two years. I had newborn baby in last year, before my second baby born, my daughter is nervous to have this life change. I talked with her teacher, they did amazing job, they talk with my daughter more often, pay attention to her. Be patience teach her this is great life change, she will have a baby brother, and nothing change our love to her. They help my daughter went through this transition very smooth. I am really appreciated all the staff and teachers. Now my son is on the waiting list too. I love to see he has the same teachers like his sister. “

” DO NOT PLACE YOUR PRECIOUS CHILD IN THIS UNPROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT. Terrible place from management, educator to its shady owner . They’ve neglected my child time after time . Sent home my child with urinated diaper and wet pants and when I brought to their attention they lied about it not knowing We’ve given them a different set of diapers and my child was in the exact same diaper as We’ve put on in the morning before dropping him off. They also lied about my son getting injured at the yard by 2 other kids time after time which was a result of lack of supervision of the teachers and when it was brought to their attention their management lied about it and blame scratches on my child face on cold and snowy day which I had to get the teacher to come by the door and tell the truth. ( ongoing events time after time ). Finally when we asked the management to look into these violent behavior by those two other kids , she said ” they’re her best friend’s children ” so a clear case of conflict of interest and she chose her personal connection over wellbeing of my child. We also excuse of having too many children in a classrooms and teacher can only do much ! Which there is a legal ratio that this place clearly violate every single day . Teaxhers violate confidentiality if children’s family by sharing with other families and the owner back the teacher up as she knows that accepting these violations will cost her both in losing the teacher as well as being sued ! Owner doesn’t care about children progress and emotional state and all she promotes to her staff is how they should fill up the class rooms . Do your research and don’t fall for their open house ( staged and fake ) visits. There are plenty other Montessori in Aurora that you can place your child there with confidence. “

” My husband and I have been very happy with Victoria Montessori. The teachers are professional, kind, transparent and highly knowledgable. Additionally, there are teachers at the school, with a lot of tenure and teaching experience. Both my daughters come home with big smiles on their faces and have nothing but great things to say about the activities, their teachers and their friends. The extra curricular programs are also fantastic. My daughter loves the drawing class. I would highly recommend the school from Toddler to Casa. “
