” So far my experience with Virtual High School has been great! I’ve taken Grade 9 French, and I’m working on Grade 10, and I’ve learned a lot. I can’t say I love the formatting of the pages, but the simpleness is probably better for learning because there aren’t any distracting colours/images. I also find the pages often take a really long time to load, no matter what device or network I’m on, so I’m assuming it’s a VHS problem, but it’s not a huge deal because I’m not generally a rushy person. All in all, pretty good, and I’m looking forward to taking Grade 11 French as well! “
” this VHS makes you learn new things not just in subjects, talking about taking responsibility on your own, discipline, motivation, makes you learn new things on your computer if you are not very high on technologies. So its subjects that help you to go further in the future career that you want and the others is to make your future easier without any stress. Also by adding about the assignment and assessment, you have a higher chance to get more than 85% on everything because you can do it when you’re ready to… no need to rush for it, Personally , VHS is a amazing school to make you learn new and more things in a short period!!! “
” I am currently enrolled in the English course, and I would like to share my thoughts and experiences. Overall, I have had a positive experience with the course so far. The content of the course is well-structured and covers a broad range of topics, which has helped me improve my understanding of both written and spoken English. The lessons are engaging, and I appreciate the variety of activities and exercises that encourage active learning. I particularly enjoy the interactive discussions and group work, as they help me feel more confident in using English in real-life situations. The instructor is knowledgeable and approachable, making it easy to ask questions and get feedback. However, I would appreciate if there were more opportunities for one-on-one interaction to address specific challenges or areas for improvement. One suggestion I have is to include more multimedia materials such as videos or podcasts to further enhance the learning experience and make the lessons even more engaging. Additionally, some of the assignments could be a bit more challenging, as I feel I could handle more complex tasks to continue advancing my skills. Thank you! “
” I appreciate the way VHS is organized, particularly the coursework and assignments. The flexibility of not having hard deadlines allows me to explore topics more deeply than I otherwise could. Additionally, the absence of wasted time, which is often present in synchronous learning, makes the experience more efficient and focused. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t jive with brick and mortar schools. “
” Virtual High School is an awesome program that helped me get through my grade 9 math. You can progress through the course at your own pace, which is helpful if you’re trying to get through high school quickly and/or easily. My only nitpick is that in my course, there were a lot of essays, making it difficult to progress in my 5-month time limit. I hope my review was helpful to you in helping you decide whether to do the course or not. :) “
