Wheatley School of Montessori Education
” We currently have our two daughters at Wheatley School and we could not be happier. Our youngest just started in the toddler room, and our oldest is in CASA year two. Both girls come home happy, healthy, and safe. The things that they learn are incredible (French, real life skills, manners), and the school has gone above and beyond during COVID, this includes tiny class sizes. “
” My son has attended this school from the toddler program to SK and so far he has received an exceptional education. There are at least two trained teachers in every class in the younger grades, and subject-specialist teachers when he is old enough to attend that level. The class sizes are small, and the teachers there know my son very well. At the age of four he is reading compound words and sentences and knows his addition facts of five up to 1000. Beyond the academic excellence, the physical environment is warm and welcoming and every issue we have had was dealt with professionally and promptly. My wife and I really feel that our son’s teachers know him so well and care about him as a person. The social atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and caring. I can’t say enough about the wonderful education at Wheatley! “
” My granddaughter attended this institution for a brief time when she was 4 years old. We found nothing exceptional about the quality of teaching, but felt more time was needed before a truly honest opinion could be reached. It wasn’t until our granddaughter took a fall from the top of a set of bleachers that this school’s shortcomings became clear. Our granddaughter hit the back of her head on the concrete floor hard enough to give her 2 black, swollen eyes. Yet no one was contacted, no medical assistance called. We were not aware of the incident until we picked her up at day’s end and the information came from our grandchild, not the teacher. When the teacher was asked about what happened, she blamed our grandchild for the incident. A disgrace! I would NOT recommend this school. “
