Wildwood Academy
” We love Wildwood for its safe and supportive learning environment. The small class sizes allow students to learn at their own pace and readiness. The school emphasizes not only academic growth but also social and emotional development, fostering well-rounded individuals. Communication between the school and families is excellent, creating a strong connection and sense of partnership. Wildwood has truly made a difference in our son’s attitude toward school, helping him feel positive and excited about learning. As parents, we also appreciate the opportunity to connect with other families and feel part of a welcoming school community. “
” My daughter has attended Wildwood Academy for three years. This school is a friendly, inclusive, fun space that creates opportunities for all different types of learners to succeed. Our daughter deals with ADHD and dyslexia and has benefited greatly from the small class sizes, individualized strategies, and direct-learning approach. We are extremely grateful for the patience and support that the Wildwood Team have shown our daughter as it is a huge factor in her growing confidence and learning success. “
” Wildwood is a place where difference is not accepted and accommodated; it’s embraced and celebrated. My son has found a home with dedicated and compassionate teachers who are passionate about supporting his learning journey, and a group of peers who are kind and welcoming of exceptionality. The teaching philosophy and methodology, the curriculum, and the facilities are all designed with intention to ensure that our children receive quality education and care. We have found our tribe. “
” Finding Wildwood Academy has been a gift for our family. In public school, we faced a daily battle to have our child attend a full day and they lacked resources to support his learning. For example, we were told he would need a scribe and a modified curriculum. At Wildwood, every element of their approach and the facility has been designed with care. The team is welcoming and each staff members knows every child. We have found a community that “gets” our child. They meet him where he is everyday, see his talents, and are willing to work with our family to try strategies to support our son. The transformation in our child has been remarkable to the point where our neighbours and extended family comment on it. He now willingly gets himself ready for school because he feels like he is part of a community. He brings home his written work to share and has a restored sense of pride. As parents of a neurodiverse child, we do not know what the future will bring but we feel much more hopeful. Highly recommend! “
” Wildwood Academy is my daughter’s home away from home. She has multiple learning disabilities and we have never seen her be successful at another school. At Wildwood, she is not just successful academically- she is THRIVING! The teachers are phenomenal at supporting her and knowing her needs. She actually likes school again. She has confidence , friends and a sense of self. It is an incredible environment with truly amazing people. We are so lucky to be a part of it all. “
