” Willowdale High School has been a great place for students to learn and grow personally and professionally. The teachers and staff are supportive and genuinely care about helping students succeed. There are plenty of activities, like bbq trips and potlucks, and field trips to galleries / museums, so students can always find something they enjoy as part of their academics. The school has a welcoming atmosphere, making everyone feel included and the teachers really go out of their way for the students. My time at willowdale high school was great and I built some strong personal and professional bonds with friends and my teachers. The school is a great place for international students who are looking for a welcome environment away from home. In my last semester as a student at willowdale highschool I had taken a course with Mrs. Sunaina. She was my art teacher and I had the best time in her class. She always supported me whenever I needed any guidance academically or even personally. She also made sure that her class had a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. Mrs. Sunaina had a way of making art approachable for all students, regardless of their skill level, and always gave thoughtful guidance and feedback. She really made my experience worth it and I will miss her a lot. “
