Woodland Christian High School
” Woodland Christian High School offers a top notch Arts and Musical program. The teachers involved, specifically Stephen Zurakowsky, foster a love for music, a desire for excellence and a standard of discipline in their students, truly pushing their students to a high level of greatness. The band program at Woodland has grown and significantly improved since the time Mr Zurakowsky began. Since his arrival, he has led the band to multiple national championships, significant recognitions and awards, and the opportunity to play in unforgettable locations, such as New York City and Boston. For one to doubt the musical and teaching abilities of Mr Zurakowsky is absurd and out of place. He spends day in and day out caring for the students at Woodland, spending his days making time for struggling students, pouring effort into refining his teaching abilities, fostering a community of encouragement and learning, and finally seeking to do all things for the glory of God. I am truly blessed to have spent four years under the mentorship of Mr Zurakowsky and would commend him to any looking to further their musical abilities in a community and learning setting. “
